PSP2, Switch 2 and an Xbox handheld... a brighter portable future?

Oceanhorn 2 paddles to Switch in the autumn

Loved Cornfox & Bros' original, Monster of Uncharted Seas (review) on the Vita, such a bright and breezy world for a fun Zelda-lite adventure to take place in. Now the sequel is headed to the Switch, as we go questing for the Knights of the Lost Realm.

In an all new engine, the action switches from isometric to full 3D, with stacks more detail in the world and a wider range of interactions, and better combat. The sequel was out on Apple Arcade a while back and made their list of top games in 2019. But everything's better with proper controls and the big-screen option.

On the plus side, it should include all the updates and expansions that Cornfox have added to the iOS versions over the year.

Can't wait until we go adventuring again in a couple of months!
