July Update: PlayStation 6 and PlayStation Portable future visions

 The recent PlayStation video about the "simulated" technology in development, discussed between AMD and Sony engineers that will power the PlayStation 6 was interesting from a geek point of view. But from a gameplay perspective, there is - IMO - no need for a PlayStation 6 for another few years. Especially with the limp Xbox is-it-isn't-it launch .  July 2026 Update : Sony managed a cannon-fire sized self-inflicted injury by announcing the end of physical releases across the end of the PS5 era and the launch of the PS6. Demon's Tier+ gets a LE teaser, pre-orders live today

Diabolical Mind's Demon Tier comes to the Vita soon in the form of the Tier+ version ported and boosted by Cowcat. Eastasiasoft is on hand with the usual impressive physical package and there's now a trailer to celebrate the fact and help show off the game, which follows in the excellent traditions of Riddled Corpses EX and Xenon Valkyrie + as pink-hued celebrations of shooting with great game mechanics.



Demon Tier+ adds roguelike and RPG features, big bosses and plenty of fun along the way, pre-orders for the physical go live today, so standby as there's only 1,500 copies, with deliveries due in June. I make this Eastasiasoft's 37th Vita physical release, here's hoping they can make it 40 before Sony shuts up shop.
