Last week Sony popped up a new PlayStation Portal promo, powered by the cute and endless possibilities of the Astro Bot crowd. Plus that guy who was a geeky kid in Stranger Things.
Finn Wolfhard was also menaced by stay-puft marshmallows in the recent Ghostbusters reboot, who the bots seem to be taking cheeky lessons from (could have been a sneaky crossover, just saying!).
Other than that, we have the tagline "Play Finds A Way", borrowed from Jurassic Park (was he in that too?) But its good fun and smartly created!
The four lines of text in the YouTube description still come with three different asterisks, suggesting PlayStation still has a lot of explaining to do about the Portal's features. And the "all the other expensive stuff sold separately..." guff really doesn't help.
But, yay, the advert picked up a 225K views in a few days, which at least shows some interest. And with Portal outdoing Sony's expectations, it looks like a solid accessory for years to come as people fight over who gets the big screen.
