July Update: PlayStation 6 and PlayStation Portable future visions

 The recent PlayStation video about the "simulated" technology in development, discussed between AMD and Sony engineers that will power the PlayStation 6 was interesting from a geek point of view. But from a gameplay perspective, there is - IMO - no need for a PlayStation 6 for another few years. Especially with the limp Xbox is-it-isn't-it launch .  July 2026 Update : Sony managed a cannon-fire sized self-inflicted injury by announcing the end of physical releases across the end of the PS5 era and the launch of the PS6. Activision Collection 2 rosters some of the finest Atari titles

Evercade's Atari Collection 1 is a meaty package with the likes of Beamrider and River Raid. But it felt like the team at Blaze was holding some goodies back for the sequel.

That's now confirmed with Activision Collection 2 packing in another 15 games, bringing the mighty H.E.R.O, sequels to Pitfall and River Raid, and more. 

Landing on shelves in April, this physical collection comes with the almost next-gen looking MoonSweeper and Robot Tank. Preorders are live now (Amazon) if you want some retro sports (Boxing) puzzles (Checkers) and plenty of vintage arcade action.
