Portable post-Black Friday deals take off from Nintendo, PlayStation and Evercade

While there's no sign of a discount on the PlayStation Portal or Xbox Ally, portable gamers can still get in on the Black Friday action. Super Micro gaming systems in-bound for Asteroids, Space Invaders and BurgerTime fans

Gaming is getting a lot smaller this week. First there was the Vectrex Mini news and now we have the HyperMegaTech (aka Evercade) squad going down from their usual collections to the smallest possible unit of gaming, just one! In a tiny micro-size keychain format enter the Super Micro team.

HyperMegaTech Super Micro

With a 2" screen and requiring 3-AAA batteries that hopefully will last a while, the launch series features Asteroids, Centipede, Burgertime (my fave) and Space Invaders from the dawn of video gaming.

Space Invaders

At only £19.99 they aren't particularly practical for an Evercade user other than a natty stocking filler, but could be a fun way to get gamers into the retro scene. The units will ship at the end of October, just in time for retro-mania to hopefully become the hottest trend for Christmas.
