Vectrex Mini interview - David Oghia talks up the nostalgic vector powerhouse

Having been wowed by the news of the Vectrex Mini at Gamescom , I rushed off some questions to VectrexOn's main man  David Oghia . After a post-event, well earned, break, he's kindly given us a lot of detail about the project and some new images of the unit to share.  His story mirrors mine somewhat, Vectrex represents a glowing, unaffordable, obelisk of gaming power from our youth! But he's had the energy and drive to do something about it, and met the right people to get the job done!  What first got you interested in Vectrex and what spawned the idea of a Mini version? I’ve always been passionate about retro-gaming, but my first love was computers rather than consoles — the ZX81, then the Commodore 128. VN Roommates shacks up with the Vita

And the first new game news of 2021 for the Vita is Winter Wolves' (of Nicole fame) well-regarded visual novel Roommates, which popped up with a trophy listing. The original arrived on Steam back in 2014, but age doesn't diminish a good story.

One that welcomes us to the college halls of Latin House with a typical mix of romance and comedy! The best dorm (that you can afford) at the greatest college (that would accept you) in the entire country (Not counting the parts that aren't here).

Either way, you're invited along with either Max or Anne as they make their way through the first year of their (hopefully Animal House-style) college experience. They'll share their dorm life with four other tenants as they pick their class load, pick their jobs, and maybe even pick someone to have a little extra curricular fun with.

Neither of them can get through college without you, so who will you help? Rock god Max or Book-smart Anne? Between bitter tenured professors and a ridiculously distracting student body, it's going to take everything they've got just to make it to year two.
