Vectrex Mini interview - David Oghia talks up the nostalgic vector powerhouse

Having been wowed by the news of the Vectrex Mini at Gamescom , I rushed off some questions to VectrexOn's main man  David Oghia . After a post-event, well earned, break, he's kindly given us a lot of detail about the project and some new images of the unit to share.  His story mirrors mine somewhat, Vectrex represents a glowing, unaffordable, obelisk of gaming power from our youth! But he's had the energy and drive to do something about it, and met the right people to get the job done!  What first got you interested in Vectrex and what spawned the idea of a Mini version? Habroxia 2 blasts the Vita in February 2021

Add another game to the Vita 2021 release list, as the sequel to the perky shooter Haboxia lines up Sony's portable in its sights. This time, humanity sends scout ships to a star system that was responsible for a massive attack. When one pilot doesn't come back, his daughter is off to the rescue.

The sequel from Lillymo offers a narrative driven adventure, horizontal and vertical sections, with a revamped twin stick control scheme, epic and enhanced retro inspired soundtrack plus challenging boss battles and customizable ship upgrades, all wrapped in a non-linear, old-school space shooter with upgrades, big battles, and a New Game+ mode.

Release hits PS4 and Vita on 2nd February 2021, and the launch trailer really makes my want to hibernate all winter. A physical edition is also on the way, with pre-orders opening on December 3, 2020 (10am ET / 4pm UK / 11pm Hong Kong) at Playasia.
