Vectrex Mini interview - David Oghia talks up the nostalgic vector powerhouse

Having been wowed by the news of the Vectrex Mini at Gamescom , I rushed off some questions to VectrexOn's main man  David Oghia . After a post-event, well earned, break, he's kindly given us a lot of detail about the project and some new images of the unit to share.  His story mirrors mine somewhat, Vectrex represents a glowing, unaffordable, obelisk of gaming power from our youth! But he's had the energy and drive to do something about it, and met the right people to get the job done!  What first got you interested in Vectrex and what spawned the idea of a Mini version? Uncharted card game shuffling to the Vita

Having been semi-leaked a couple of weeks back, there is now an official card game for the Uncharted series hitting the Vita on PSN in December, the US version will be $5. Featuring online multiplayer mode, it expands on the Vita's original Uncharted adventure, encouraging you to go collect all those trinkets glinting in the muck.

Fight for Fortune sounds like a feature that didn't quite make it into the original game and looks like a straight card battle game with those trinkets acting as boosters for characters and weapons. While it doesn't boost the core game as Metal Gear Ac!d did for that series on the PSP, it looks like it could be fun.

Bend Studio meanwhile is continuing to work on a new PS Vita title.
