PS Vita Release Date to be Announced at TGS

Sony has confirmed no Vita outside Japan this year, and now says that the date for that launch will be announced at Tokyo Games Show. This makes GamesCon a pretty hollow hands-on for attendees who get to touch something they won't get to play with another six to nine months.

Hopefully there will be some new games announcements and other surprises, but its going to be a pretty hollow event and, with a very long lead time, one that has lost some of its interest since Sony made their half-hearted announcement.
