Vectrex Mini interview - David Oghia talks up the nostalgic vector powerhouse

Having been wowed by the news of the Vectrex Mini at Gamescom , I rushed off some questions to VectrexOn's main man  David Oghia . Jump on the Neon Inferno wrecking bus now

One of the most impressive looking recent retro releases, with four years of love put into the development, Neon Inferno from Zenovia Interactive and Retroware is out now across PlayStation and Switch, with physical versions out next year.

Why a bus? I can see just about every other vehicle in the promos, from jet skis to mechs and much larger cannon fodder. Here's hoping there's a bus to trash! Whatever, it looks very well worth the £15.99 on PSN and £13.40 with sale eShop prices.

Neon Inferno

Set in a neon hellscape of New York in 2055, the city is beyond salvation. Blast your way through this dense cyberpunk jungle, an explosive fusion of 2D run-and-gun and gallery-shooter, and help the Family dominate its streets!

Neon Inferno is a hybrid side-scroller and gallery-shooter where the action takes place in both the foreground and the background. Rendered in beautiful pixel art and backed by an raging soundtrack.

As warring factions battle for control of a dystopian New York City, you enter the fray as an assassin for the Family -- a notorious crime syndicate determined to eliminate its rivals and dominate the metropolitan battlefield.
