Vectrex Mini interview - David Oghia talks up the nostalgic vector powerhouse

Having been wowed by the news of the Vectrex Mini at Gamescom , I rushed off some questions to VectrexOn's main man  David Oghia . After a post-event, well earned, break, he's kindly given us a lot of detail about the project and some new images of the unit to share.  His story mirrors mine somewhat, Vectrex represents a glowing, unaffordable, obelisk of gaming power from our youth! But he's had the energy and drive to do something about it, and met the right people to get the job done!  What first got you interested in Vectrex and what spawned the idea of a Mini version? I’ve always been passionate about retro-gaming, but my first love was computers rather than consoles — the ZX81, then the Commodore 128. I only really discovered the console world in the late 90s, which is when I got my very first Vectrex. Lost Vita release Jet Set Knights pre-orders this week

Eastasiasoft teased a lost or missing Vita game last week. Now we find that Jet Set Knights is the surprise title, getting a belated physical release for the Vita. All packed and ready to go, pre-orders open on June 8th at 11pm Hong Kong time (11am ET / 8am PT / 4pm UK), with only 1,050 units.

I have no idea how this got lost or delayed, I will enquire, and ask about trophies (perhaps sharing the PS4's), if they still work on PSN for a Vita title. But, one thing I'm pretty sure of, we can bask in one more futile effort queuing in the pre-order line

Jet Set Knights was developed by Fobti and published on Switch/PS4/etc by Ratalaika, It is a medieval pixelly brawler where players have to protect Princess Kitty and her kingdom at all costs!

Players control one of four brave knights and face hundreds of evil creatures. Jet Set Knights draws inspiration from golden age classics while incorporating unique tower defense and RPG elements, offering unlimited replay value and an endearing pixel art style!
