July Update: PlayStation 6 and PlayStation Portable future visions

 The recent PlayStation video about the "simulated" technology in development, discussed between AMD and Sony engineers that will power the PlayStation 6 was interesting from a geek point of view. But from a gameplay perspective, there is - IMO - no need for a PlayStation 6 for another few years. Especially with the limp Xbox is-it-isn't-it launch .  July 2026 Update : Sony managed a cannon-fire sized self-inflicted injury by announcing the end of physical releases across the end of the PS5 era and the launch of the PS6. Agnostiko free or paid homebrew for on Vita

Homebrewers can crack open a new PS Vita Metroidvania today, Agnostiko, a platformer set in the challenging halls of Mr. Plague's Mansion. There's a free version from developer Singles Alliance or you can plonk down $2.99 for a version with a continue feature that will likely make it a little less challenging. Grab the APK file here which has a touch screen mode over other versions (just for fun). 

Elsewhere in Vita homebrew, exclusive Purified has gone very quiet in recent months, hoping to hear something soon. But the ports and other projects continue at a regular pace, Zealous Chuck has regular YouTube updates.
