Vectrex Mini interview - David Oghia talks up the nostalgic vector powerhouse

Having been wowed by the news of the Vectrex Mini at Gamescom , I rushed off some questions to VectrexOn's main man  David Oghia . After a post-event, well earned, break, he's kindly given us a lot of detail about the project and some new images of the unit to share.  His story mirrors mine somewhat, Vectrex represents a glowing, unaffordable, obelisk of gaming power from our youth! I’ve always been passionate about retro-gaming, but my first love was computers rather than consoles — the ZX81, then the Commodore 128. I only really discovered the console world in the late 90s, which is when I got my very first Vectrex. Apsulov: End of Gods brings Norse dread to the Switch

Apsulov: End of Gods is a futuristic Viking horror and sci-fi adventure from Angry Demon Studio. It looks like there's a lot of System Shock and bits of Doom, splattered together as humans have dug deep below the Earth only to find the anger of the gods.

What they found was never meant to reach the surface. As the token hapless human, you wake in a facility built to research the worlds of Yggdrasil and must survive lurking dangers while exploring technology and mythological artifacts.

The Switch is getting a digital-only release in the summer, but that shouldn't stop the horror spreading among all console gamers soon, as the PC original from 2019 gets a wider release.
