July Update: PlayStation 6 and PlayStation Portable future visions

 The recent PlayStation video about the "simulated" technology in development, discussed between AMD and Sony engineers that will power the PlayStation 6 was interesting from a geek point of view. But from a gameplay perspective, there is - IMO - no need for a PlayStation 6 for another few years. Especially with the limp Xbox is-it-isn't-it launch .  July 2026 Update : Sony managed a cannon-fire sized self-inflicted injury by announcing the end of physical releases across the end of the PS5 era and the launch of the PS6. Buried Stars visual novel has English, but not the Vita edition

That's annoying! 

A new set of English-language trophies popped up on Exophase last night for Buried Stars. "Sounds good", I thought. 

A quick search revealed an Asian visual novel with English text getting a global release - "Even better", I smiled while typing this.

Looked up publisher LINE Games and developer Studio LARGO for more info. 

The game is a survival visual novel, with the usual motley bunch of characters and plenty of discourse, even so, it looks pretty big budget. But it turns out the Vita version will only be available in South Korea and that won't come with English text, which seems rather pointless.
