July Update: PlayStation 6 and PlayStation Portable future visions

 The recent PlayStation video about the "simulated" technology in development, discussed between AMD and Sony engineers that will power the PlayStation 6 was interesting from a geek point of view. But from a gameplay perspective, there is - IMO - no need for a PlayStation 6 for another few years. Especially with the limp Xbox is-it-isn't-it launch .  July 2026 Update : Sony managed a cannon-fire sized self-inflicted injury by announcing the end of physical releases across the end of the PS5 era and the launch of the PS6. Woodsalt shows its future on the Switch

Woodsalt offers something different for Switch gamers, set 1,000 years in the future on a replacement for the dead earth. The adventure sees Emcy, an Earth-born waking in a new city as they wait for a signal to return back home, but not everybody is as eager to return as thought.

Civil unrest grows with a conspiracy to keep people from going back home, as Emcy suffers visions and messages from an unknown voice. The game features multiple endings, numerous side-plots with their own branching storylines that can affect the main plot and hidden secret endings to discover.
