July Update: PlayStation 6 and PlayStation Portable future visions

 The recent PlayStation video about the "simulated" technology in development, discussed between AMD and Sony engineers that will power the PlayStation 6 was interesting from a geek point of view. But from a gameplay perspective, there is - IMO - no need for a PlayStation 6 for another few years. Especially with the limp Xbox is-it-isn't-it launch .  July 2026 Update : Sony managed a cannon-fire sized self-inflicted injury by announcing the end of physical releases across the end of the PS5 era and the launch of the PS6. Minecraft Dungeons explores the game's history soon

The Minecraft community is still one of the largest in global gaming, popping blocks and building architectural wonders on their consoles long after the shallow kids have moved on to the next fad. To add a little more story to their lives, Minecraft Dungeons explores the main game's backstory with a new launch date of late May.

There's a standard edition for $20 and a Hero Edition for $30 that provides access to some of the DLC, some extra skins and goodies. Here's a quick peek at the game, and the master story builders telling us all what a backstory is...
