July Update: PlayStation 6 and PlayStation Portable future visions

The recent PlayStation video about the "simulated" technology in development, discussed between AMD and Sony engineers that will power the PlayStation 6 was interesting from a geek point of view. But from a gameplay perspective, there is - IMO - no need for a PlayStation 6 for another few years. Especially with the limp Xbox is-it-isn't-it launch .  July 2026 Update : Sony managed a cannon-fire sized self-inflicted injury by announcing the end of physical releases across the end of the PS5 era and the launch of the PS6. Disaster Report 4: Summer Memories hits the Switch next year

Hmm, is this a distant relative of the one that wasn't released in Japan after one of their previous natural disasters struck? Still, assuming your country doesn't get walloped by earthquakes, tsunamis, tornadoes and such like, I guess this is a dramatic fantasy that's worth a peek.

In Disaster Report 4: Summer Memories, you try to survive and make decisions that will have an impact on your chances of getting through the game. Meeting other survivors and trying to help them out in situations. There's no Dwayne Johnson or other heroic figure to fight nature, just people trying to survive!

The game lands early 2020, and NIS America must be praying no natural disasters hit the US or Europe around then, forcing a cancellation.

Currently playing on my Vita/PS3/PS4/PS5
