Possible new PlayStation Portal model pays homage to the Vita's OLED

While much of the focus on PlayStation's next steps is the PS6 and PS6 Portable , the two-year old PlayStation Portal could be getting a revamp according to those pesky internet rumours.  Update : Hints at pricing are around £/$250-299 for the new model, but everything remains deeply in rumours territory. Presumably the goal is to hit the 10% (currently 7%-ish) adoption rate among PS5 owners, something that would make it a bone fide hit gadget.   The recent February  PlayStation State of Play  saw no announcement. SteamWorld Quest brings piston-powered card battling to the Switch

Thunderful, formerly Image and Form, bring the first SteamWorld RPG to the Switch as the premier platform. SteamWorld Quest is billed as the role-playing card game you’ve been waiting for (apparently), and is based on fan requests for an RPG based in the robotic universe.

You get to lead a party of heroic steambots through a beautifully hand-drawn world and intense battles, using only your wits and a handful of cards. It looks like most other card battlers, and its hard to see where the unique steamy element comes in, but hopefully more will be revealed soon!

Take on whatever threat comes your way by crafting your own deck, choosing from over 100 unique punch cards! What awaits you is a luscious treasure chest filled with gold, dragons, vivid worlds, magic, knights in shining armor as well as XP, turn-based battles and all that good RPG stuff! The humorous mix of traditional fantasy and steampunk robots makes for an unforgettable experience with lots of laughs.

Currently playing on my Vita/PS3/PS4/PS5
