Epic's Fortnite continues to churn out the impressive figures, today announcing it has passed the 200 million user mark, across PC, console and mobile. On the Switch the free game is installed on over 50% of the 22 million Nintendo hybrids. That momentum resulted in a record of over 8.4 million people playing the game simultaneously, and while some will move on to other shooters, plenty more are still signing up.
Have to say, even with the constant updates, the fact I'm not that good at it (planning to upgrade to a Pro controller which should help) and the silly costumes, I love the idea of the evolving island and the little stories that come out of it.
Its also great to listen in on Squad Mode and hear players of all ages discussing the latest tactics and discoveries within the game.
