July Update: PlayStation 6 and PlayStation Portable future visions

 The recent PlayStation video about the "simulated" technology in development, discussed between AMD and Sony engineers that will power the PlayStation 6 was interesting from a geek point of view. But from a gameplay perspective, there is - IMO - no need for a PlayStation 6 for another few years. Especially with the limp Xbox is-it-isn't-it launch .  July 2026 Update : Sony managed a cannon-fire sized self-inflicted injury by announcing the end of physical releases across the end of the PS5 era and the launch of the PS6. Lego Super Villains bring crime to the Switch

Flogging the Lego branding for all its worth, DC Comic's roster of super villains get a game of their own. Hopefully offering more fun and mayhem than the goodie-goodie Batman and Marvel heroes have, it opens the series up for some criminally genius plans and true arch-villiany, even as the developers try to squeeze them into heroic roles.

In Lego DC Super-Villains, the Justice League has disappeared, leaving Earth’s protection to a newcomer group of heroes from a parallel universe, proclaiming themselves as the ‘Justice Syndicate’. Renowned DC Super-Villains from the ‘Legion Of Doom’ discover Earth’s newest heroes may not be all they claim to be, leaving it up to the Joker and friends to sort-of save the day.
