Victor Vran: Overkill Edition storms the Switch with Motörhead

If you have a Motörhead song in your trailer, your game had better be very, very good. Victor Vran from Haemimont Games and Wired Productions is an isometric action RPG (think Diablo) which, in its 2015 PC incarnation, garnered plenty of 80%+ reviews, so there's reason for hope.

The Victor Vran: Overkill Edition features the original game plus an ethereal Fractured Worlds add-on, a challenging and empowering new chapter and Motörhead: Through the Ages – a wild tour through the mythos, music and attitude of what was the loudest and most honest band in the world.

“Victor Vran: Overkill Edition will be the first game of it’s kind to arrive on the Nintendo Switch,” says Leo Zullo, Managing Director at Wired Productions, “a masterpiece both technically and in its gameplay, Haemimont Games’ classic RPG will be a must-have addition for Switch owners.”

“Victor Vran has taken us on an incredible journey,” said Gabriel Dobrev, CEO at Haemimont Games. “from working with Motörhead to seeing so many players love the game as we have has been a real privilege – we’re excited for Victor’s next strides onto the Switch platform.”

Check out the trailer and get ready for action this summer. The games only real competition is Titan Quest, an even older PC game coming to consoles, but if these sell sufficiently expect plenty more action RPGs, and perhaps even the mighty Diablo series itself.
