Vectrex Mini interview - David Oghia talks up the nostalgic vector powerhouse

Having been wowed by the news of the Vectrex Mini at Gamescom , I rushed off some questions to VectrexOn's main man  David Oghia . After a post-event, well earned, break, he's kindly given us a lot of detail about the project and some new images of the unit to share.  His story mirrors mine somewhat, Vectrex represents a glowing, unaffordable, obelisk of gaming power from our youth! But he's had the energy and drive to do something about it, and met the right people to get the job done!  What first got you interested in Vectrex and what spawned the idea of a Mini version? I’ve always been passionate about retro-gaming, but my first love was computers rather than consoles — the ZX81, then the Commodore 128. Valkyrie Drive stays at UK retail chart No. 1

Fun and games on the UK retail chart this week, with PQube's Valkyrie Drive sticking to the number one spot, which doesn't happen very often. Bandai's God Eater 2 continues to shift a few copies, glued to No. 5, while Gal*Gun is also claiming more sales back into the top 10.

Lumo continues to illuminate that top 10, and Criminal Girls 2 just drops out, hopefully the Limited Edition sold well. Meanwhile, ahead of the November Steins Gate 0 launch, the original sneaks back into the top 20, making it a hat trick of PQube titles in the chart.

On the Amazon Best Sellers list, World of Final Fantasy continues to be the lead pre-order game, followed by Sword Art Online: Hollow Realization.
