July Update: PlayStation 6 and PlayStation Portable future visions

 The recent PlayStation video about the "simulated" technology in development, discussed between AMD and Sony engineers that will power the PlayStation 6 was interesting from a geek point of view. But from a gameplay perspective, there is - IMO - no need for a PlayStation 6 for another few years. Phantasy Star Online 2 Deluxe Edition for Japan

With all that DLC creaking about, there was bound to be another boxed copy for PSO2 Episode 4, and here it comes landing in April for Japanese gamers who haven't yet splurged. Naturally, the tight on memory Vita version recommends a 16GB memory card to go along with the game, suggesting that not all the content is on the game cartridge.

The new version is out on 20 April, and despite Sega putting up a recent poll where loads of Vita owners asked for this to come west (I'd hope), nil chance of it coming west - mainly due to the server and infrastructure cost.
