July Update: PlayStation 6 and PlayStation Portable future visions

 The recent PlayStation video about the "simulated" technology in development, discussed between AMD and Sony engineers that will power the PlayStation 6 was interesting from a geek point of view. But from a gameplay perspective, there is - IMO - no need for a PlayStation 6 for another few years. Especially with the limp Xbox is-it-isn't-it launch .  July 2026 Update : Sony managed a cannon-fire sized self-inflicted injury by announcing the end of physical releases across the end of the PS5 era and the launch of the PS6. Dragon Quest Heroes II trailer and gameplay

Following on from the monstrous success of Dragon Quest Builders, will the Heroes off-shoot continue to do the business, as the series comes to the Vita? Overnight Square dropped the official trailer and there's some gameplay footage from the PS4 version. Some Vita footage is floating around the net, but its pretty crappy quality - check it out here if you want.

The game is due out on Japan on 27 May, with high hopes for a western release, considering its predecessor came over on PS4. It features Cross Play and Cross Save across Vita and PS4 with Vita TV support.
