Vectrex Mini interview - David Oghia talks up the nostalgic vector powerhouse

Having been wowed by the news of the Vectrex Mini at Gamescom , I rushed off some questions to VectrexOn's main man  David Oghia . After a post-event, well earned, break, he's kindly given us a lot of detail about the project and some new images of the unit to share.  His story mirrors mine somewhat, Vectrex represents a glowing, unaffordable, obelisk of gaming power from our youth! Planet Centauri 2D RPG has sane Vita stretch goal

Asking a mere €27,000 for a Vita version makes this endearing-looking Kickstarter like quiet a good prospect. Planet Centauri 2D is a sandbox RPG from French developer Permadeath, with the hero striding around on a dinosaur, and capable of molding the landscape around him.

There's a huge list of features from the PC version which is pretty much done, so its a straight port to the Vita and other platforms. Not sure how many of these features will appear in a Vita version, but its still an impressive achievement for a small indie:

Unique Monsters, weapons, and armor!
Craft your own magic spells and create your own dynamic gameplay!
Catch them all! Capture and tame monsters
Character Creation : Over 100,000 physical combinations and over 500 unique clothes.
Story Mode, Quests and Multiplayer
Achievements have a real impact on the environment
Dynamic Weather conditions. From serene snowflakes to raging hurricanes
Agriculture and Cooking, Fishing
Create your weapons and armors
Build a village and assign roles and jobs to its inhabitants
Use a wide array of electric components and logic gates to design advanced systems!
Set the behavior of NPCs and Robots
God Saucer- Lots of minigames!
Mods, Mods everywhere - use many editors to create your own dungeons, biomes, monsters.
