Vectrex Mini interview - David Oghia talks up the nostalgic vector powerhouse

Having been wowed by the news of the Vectrex Mini at Gamescom , I rushed off some questions to VectrexOn's main man  David Oghia . After a post-event, well earned, break, he's kindly given us a lot of detail about the project and some new images of the unit to share.  His story mirrors mine somewhat, Vectrex represents a glowing, unaffordable, obelisk of gaming power from our youth! But he's had the energy and drive to do something about it, and met the right people to get the job done!  What first got you interested in Vectrex and what spawned the idea of a Mini version? I’ve always been passionate about retro-gaming, but my first love was computers rather than consoles — the ZX81, then the Commodore 128. I only really discovered the console world in the late 90s, which is when I got my very first Vectrex. Vita finally gets a Minecraft bundle

Not sure if this is official, or just an Amazon deal, but you can pick up a new PS Vita and Minecraft for £149 on Amazon UK, starting Friday. Given the game was the third biggest Vita launch ever, this could help shift a few consoles, even if its only parents trying to shoo kids off their consoles when they hog them for Minecrafting sessions.

It is already ranking at #66 in the console most wanted list (way higher than most Vita stuff gets) and with a little promotion could do some good. The bundle was posted a couple of days ago, but I haven't seen one anywhere else. No sign of one on the Amazon US site where Borderlands is still the only current bundle.

UPDATED: In the Black Friday deals, on the UK site, the bargain of the day is the Mega Pack with 10 games and an 8GB card for £129.99 (price is wrong on the ad below). There's a LEGO bundle at the same price on Argos, but the site is down.
