July Update: PlayStation 6 and PlayStation Portable future visions

 The recent PlayStation video about the "simulated" technology in development, discussed between AMD and Sony engineers that will power the PlayStation 6 was interesting from a geek point of view. But from a gameplay perspective, there is - IMO - no need for a PlayStation 6 for another few years. Especially with the limp Xbox is-it-isn't-it launch .  July 2026 Update : Sony managed a cannon-fire sized self-inflicted injury by announcing the end of physical releases across the end of the PS5 era and the launch of the PS6. Hyperdimension Neptunia Producing Perfection western trailer

Go, go, NIS America, they keep churning out the news with a new trailer (with Japanese footage) of the upcoming Hyperdimension Neptunia title for the Vita. The quirky cross-genre game sees you fall into Gamindustri, a land of competiting games consoles and makers. No release date other than this year, so yet another sack-of-cats-mad game to look forward to.



One of the four CPUs—Neptune, Noire, Blanc, and Vert— hires you to be their producer and manage their idol careers. Leaving you to train the CPUs and turn them into idols, Teach the girls to sing, dance, and properly promote themselves. So, not quite like the other visual novel/RPG titles in the series, but since Persona can do a dance game, why can't other series go all musical?
