A tweet from Toukiden's producer Hisashi Koinuma suggests that Tecmo was ready for the popularity of the Vita/PSP title, which sold between 80% and 100% of its initial stock, reaching second place in this week's Japanese Chart.
He now claims the game has sold over 300,000 copies, thanks to rapid restocking. That's likely across both formats which is probably a 200K Vita, 100K PSP split. That means the games should stay high in the chart next week and continue to sell Vita hardware.
