Vectrex Mini interview - David Oghia talks up the nostalgic vector powerhouse

Having been wowed by the news of the Vectrex Mini at Gamescom , I rushed off some questions to VectrexOn's main man  David Oghia . After a post-event, well earned, break, he's kindly given us a lot of detail about the project and some new images of the unit to share.  His story mirrors mine somewhat, Vectrex represents a glowing, unaffordable, obelisk of gaming power from our youth! New Assassin's Creed game on the way, will Ubi deliver a Vita version?

Ubisoft has just announced its (very good) financials, but during the conference call, CEO confirmed a new branch of the timey-wimey game, exploring another new destination. Now, having gone to all the trouble of building a Vita engine, what are the chances of them doing another off-shoot like Liberation for the handheld?

Details will be announced soon, but it would be great to think the game did well enough, despite the Vita's low install base, to merit another adventure. AC3 shipped 12 million units according to the report, but there's no breakdown between that and the Vita version (UPDATE: Vita's Liberation sold 600,000). More info soon, I hope.
