July Update: PlayStation 6 and PlayStation Portable future visions

 The recent PlayStation video about the "simulated" technology in development, discussed between AMD and Sony engineers that will power the PlayStation 6 was interesting from a geek point of view. But from a gameplay perspective, there is - IMO - no need for a PlayStation 6 for another few years. Especially with the limp Xbox is-it-isn't-it launch .  July 2026 Update : Sony managed a cannon-fire sized self-inflicted injury by announcing the end of physical releases across the end of the PS5 era and the launch of the PS6. Two PS Vita games raid the Japanese Top Six

After apologies for selling out of stock earlier in the week, both Demon Gaze and Monster Monpiece made it into the new Japanese Top 10. Sure, its a quiet week but you take good news when you can with the Vita. Hardware sales were up a little, but still below 10,000.

Without the sell outs a No. 2 and No. 3 would probably have been in order, which isn't too bad. Will stock replenish for next week to keep them in the chart? Probably not given the usual dive in sales for most games.
