July Update: PlayStation 6 and PlayStation Portable future visions

 The recent PlayStation video about the "simulated" technology in development, discussed between AMD and Sony engineers that will power the PlayStation 6 was interesting from a geek point of view. But from a gameplay perspective, there is - IMO - no need for a PlayStation 6 for another few years. Especially with the limp Xbox is-it-isn't-it launch .  July 2026 Update : Sony managed a cannon-fire sized self-inflicted injury by announcing the end of physical releases across the end of the PS5 era and the launch of the PS6. Urban Trials goes Freestyle on PS Vita

A tweak here and a tweak there won't stop Urban Trials being compared to the Xbox's awesome Trials Evolution, but at least this snippet and a  new piece of art and a trailer means the game is still in the works, having been all quiet for months.


Posted on the game's Facebook site: "Hi, We have changed the name of the game to "Urban Trial Freestyle" and also set a new fan page (http://www.facebook.com/UrbanTrialFreestyle). Check it out, the game will be released really soon. Greets!" Hopefully Polish developer Tate will be able to make it stand out more from its illustrious rival.
