July Update: PlayStation 6 and PlayStation Portable future visions

 The recent PlayStation video about the "simulated" technology in development, discussed between AMD and Sony engineers that will power the PlayStation 6 was interesting from a geek point of view. But from a gameplay perspective, there is - IMO - no need for a PlayStation 6 for another few years. Especially with the limp Xbox is-it-isn't-it launch .  July 2026 Update : Sony managed a cannon-fire sized self-inflicted injury by announcing the end of physical releases across the end of the PS5 era and the launch of the PS6. Caligula gets a flowery Vita limited edition

Scampering after the Ys VIII LE comes another new look for Sony's portable, suggesting the company has high hopes for Furyu's Caligula, not quite Persona title. There are four options, but the flower design looks the most pleasing. The only thing is, those black screw heads look really nasty on the white cases, something Sony could surely fix with a bit of paint.

And, if the company has the facilities to churn out all these LEs, why can't it have a western site where we can pay a little extra to order any of the basic black, or if you're lucky, blue colours - without any LE games, just a pretty Vita with western settings.
