July Update: PlayStation 6 and PlayStation Portable future visions

 The recent PlayStation video about the "simulated" technology in development, discussed between AMD and Sony engineers that will power the PlayStation 6 was interesting from a geek point of view. But from a gameplay perspective, there is - IMO - no need for a PlayStation 6 for another few years. Especially with the limp Xbox is-it-isn't-it launch .  July 2026 Update : Sony managed a cannon-fire sized self-inflicted injury by announcing the end of physical releases across the end of the PS5 era and the launch of the PS6. Digimon unboxing vid suggests how popular it would be in the west

The ever-brilliant GadgetGirlKylie has got her hands on an import of Digimon Story Cyber Sleuth and the unboxing video and her first play through are getting plenty of hits, suggesting Bandai really should get this game over here ASAP! Check out Elliot Sensei's blog for some cool screens too!

Early opinion reckons the game is one of the Vita's finest and we'll find out how well its done in the Media Create charts on Wednesday, with estimates suggesting a very high sell-through. A change.org poll has so far got 60,000 users asking for a localisation! Chip in and get it up to 75K, hopefully Bandai will pay attention to all this activity.
