Vectrex Mini interview - David Oghia talks up the nostalgic vector powerhouse

Having been wowed by the news of the Vectrex Mini at Gamescom , I rushed off some questions to VectrexOn's main man  David Oghia . After a post-event, well earned, break, he's kindly given us a lot of detail about the project and some new images of the unit to share.  His story mirrors mine somewhat, Vectrex represents a glowing, unaffordable, obelisk of gaming power from our youth! But he's had the energy and drive to do something about it, and met the right people to get the job done!  What first got you interested in Vectrex and what spawned the idea of a Mini version? Light gets picked up, Kickstarter cancelled

Good news! Light, the Kickstarter stealth game I got so excited about last week has been funded, but by a third-party not the Kickstarter campaign, which has now been cancelled. To be honest, the Kickstarter fund was looking a bit dicey, so its good to hear the project has been picked up by a publisher (wonder if its one of Sony's indie buddies like Housemarque, Grip Games or one of Brighton's bigger players), lets hope the Vita version is still going to happen.

Congratulations to the developers, Just a Pixel, who sent out this message.
Hello everyone, We've been contacted by a private party who wishes to fully fund the development of Light! Expect to hear some big news about it in the near future, but for now we can't mention whom it is. For all of you who have backed Light, thank you so much! Your support made this possible, so thank you. Be sure to sign up to our mailing list if you haven't already, so you will be the first to know of any future announcements. Thank you all for believing in us!
