July Update: PlayStation 6 and PlayStation Portable future visions

Hatsune Miku storms to the top in Japan

The vocaloid songstress helps to sell 45,000 Vita consoles and 158,000 copies of her latest game in Japan, to give the console a handy lift of around 5% in total user base. Sega has said that digital sales made up another 10% but that development costs will make a sequel unlikely unless the game continues to sell well, something that will be grim news to Sony, trying to encourage more third party development.
