July Update: PlayStation 6 and PlayStation Portable future visions

 The recent PlayStation video about the "simulated" technology in development, discussed between AMD and Sony engineers that will power the PlayStation 6 was interesting from a geek point of view. But from a gameplay perspective, there is - IMO - no need for a PlayStation 6 for another few years. Especially with the limp Xbox is-it-isn't-it launch .  July 2026 Update : Sony managed a cannon-fire sized self-inflicted injury by announcing the end of physical releases across the end of the PS5 era and the launch of the PS6. Little Battlers W gets trailer trashed

Those dinky fighting robots that went down a storm in Japan on the PSP are coming both to Sony's original handheld and the Vita, and there's a new trailer out. With a September release this should be another hit for the Vita, it is also the first proper sequel, rather than just an update.



With a full title of Little Battler eXperience W (LBX) the Level-5 developed game sees the little robots go on the rampage. The games will have near matched pricing, and are unlikely to be different, apart from visual upgrades. The originals never made it west, so don't expect these to, the odd import is available:
