Vectrex Mini interview - David Oghia talks up the nostalgic vector powerhouse

Having been wowed by the news of the Vectrex Mini at Gamescom , I rushed off some questions to VectrexOn's main man  David Oghia . After a post-event, well earned, break, he's kindly given us a lot of detail about the project and some new images of the unit to share.  His story mirrors mine somewhat, Vectrex represents a glowing, unaffordable, obelisk of gaming power from our youth! Sony Vita Sponsoring Games Awards For "Autumn Launch"

Not so interested in the games media awards (of which the company doing them should be embarrassed and ashamed of the link), but the fact that Sony Vita will be a Gold Partner Sponsor using the back-slapping shindig as a platform for the U.K. "Autumn launch" of the handheld.

Its hard to tell if that's the MCV article's impression or something from Sony with the company's UK PR head David Wilson who is quoted as saying "PlayStation Vita on the horizon" but such sponsorship does seem to suggest some launch activity this year and earlier than perhaps thought.

Having vomited over the back slapping, there is a category for Best Games Blog, so why not put us forward by emailing them here and I could be able to tell you just how much slapping goes on.
