Vectrex Mini interview - David Oghia talks up the nostalgic vector powerhouse

Having been wowed by the news of the Vectrex Mini at Gamescom , I rushed off some questions to VectrexOn's main man  David Oghia . After a post-event, well earned, break, he's kindly given us a lot of detail about the project and some new images of the unit to share.  His story mirrors mine somewhat, Vectrex represents a glowing, unaffordable, obelisk of gaming power from our youth! Evercade VS-R and EXP-R solo and bundle units up for preorder

The latest models of the Evercade hardware are now up for pre-order, offering a new and lower-cost way to enjoy the ever-growing retro library from the dawn of consoles and home computer games starting with Atari all the way up to PlayStation, Amiga and N64 games.

The VS-R and EXP-R portable Solos cost £89.99,€109.99,$119.99 while the  EXP-R Solo hits at £99.99, €119.99, $119.99 for big-screen play. Alongside the hugely fun and £50 Super Pocket there's an Evercade for all budgets!

Amazon also has a range of pack-in bundles for anyone who remembers the excitement of Sonic coming with that Mega Drive or the Street Fighter II SNES bundle.

This makes it easier than ever for both newcomers and long-time fans to jump straight into the Evercade experience. Both consoles now feature a nostalgic, retro colour scheme.

Designed for home use, the VS-R Solo connects to your TV and comes with one controller, supporting up to 4 players for multiplayer gaming. It's fully compatible with the entire Evercade cartridge library, giving you access to over 600 games across more than 60 collections.

Also available for pre-order, the EXP-R Solo  is the handheld version of the Evercade console. Like the VS-R, it supports the full Evercade library, letting players enjoy classic console, arcade, and home computer titles wherever you go, making it perfect for gaming on the move.
