Nintendo's Switch 2 marketing takes over London

Nintendo's bean counters might be celebrating the successful launch of the Switch 2 with 3.5 million units sold in the first four days. But I think the marketing team deserve a pat on the back, with Switch 2 marketing absolutely everywhere.

On a quick trip to London this week, Switch 2 hardware and games marketing was all over the main train and tube stations and on the streets. While Nintendo die-hards were going to upgrade anyway, I'd like to think a lot of regular folk are taking an interest and jumping on the Nintendo train.

Given the poor state of games marketing, hopefully this will nudge other publishers with a reminder that there's more than shoving a banner advert on Engadget or wherever.

What I didn't see was any booths or demo kiosks, which I thought would be have been high on the list of priorities to show even loyal Switch owners how much better the successor is. Let me know if you've seen any around.
