July Update: PlayStation 6 and PlayStation Portable future visions

 The recent PlayStation video about the "simulated" technology in development, discussed between AMD and Sony engineers that will power the PlayStation 6 was interesting from a geek point of view. But from a gameplay perspective, there is - IMO - no need for a PlayStation 6 for another few years. Nanuka: Secret of the Shattering Moon next up from OotB

 If you liked Out of the Bit's Full Void or appreciated its retro style, then the company's next effort Nanuka: Secret of the Shattering Moon should tickle that nostalgic gaming itch. 

Nanuka: Secret of the Shattering Moon is coming to consoles after an initial Steam launch (wishlist now) with cinematic hand-drawn 2D visuals. The puzzle platformer gameplay is set in a colourful land, Looking a little bit like the Shantae series, which is no bad thing, heroine Nanuka has to find out why the moon has gone pop with an action- and combat-packed adventure ahead. 


Nanuka has to use her martial art combat skills to defeat quirky foes while making friends that will be key to uncovering the secret of the shattering moon. 



Nanuka: Secret of the Shattering Moon is listed for a 2025 release and would be another cool addition to Evercade, but will be great on any platform given OotB's fast-growing pedigree.
