Vectrex Mini interview - David Oghia talks up the nostalgic vector powerhouse

Having been wowed by the news of the Vectrex Mini at Gamescom , I rushed off some questions to VectrexOn's main man  David Oghia . After a post-event, well earned, break, he's kindly given us a lot of detail about the project and some new images of the unit to share.  His story mirrors mine somewhat, Vectrex represents a glowing, unaffordable, obelisk of gaming power from our youth! But he's had the energy and drive to do something about it, and met the right people to get the job done!  What first got you interested in Vectrex and what spawned the idea of a Mini version? Of course, I had seen it in stores back in 1983, but at that time it was far too expensive for me.  Today, I own five Vectrex systems at home. Vector-based games ...

Doctor Who: The Edge of Reality materialises on the Switch

Cyberman alert, this is a Cyberman alert, and that's pretty much all we are getting from Just Add Water's Doctor Who trailer ahead of the game's September release. The Edge of Reality is heading to Switch and other consoles soon, but still not much a clue about the adventure inside.

Pretty sure lots of puzzles and running away will be involved, but what will link all those elements together? Hopefully this is a bit more ambitious than the Matt Smith-era The Eternity Clock that hit the Vita way back when.

On the plus side, the inclusion of David Tennant's Doctor alongside the 13th Doctor Jodie Whittaker on the image at the end is an interesting sign. We can't go wrong with a bit of crossover action and plenty of nemesiseseses (what is the plural?) in the mix.
