July Update: PlayStation 6 and PlayStation Portable future visions

The recent PlayStation video about the "simulated" technology in development, discussed between AMD and Sony engineers that will power the PlayStation 6 was interesting from a geek point of view. Congrats to everyone who entered the KyuHen Vita homebrew contest

The deadline for entries for the KyuHen Vita homebrew contest has passed. With plenty of activity from a hard core of those still keen on working on the Vita, there are some great looking titles from the relatively simple to the impressive looking. It is easier to follow the official Twitter feed and the general Twitter thread rather than dive across all the entries.

You can download games on a jailbroken Vita across the various categories from ports to whole new titles via the Vita Homebrew browser or other methods. Go to the website for more details and if you want to donate to the prize pot as judging starts.

If anything, it makes me wonder why Sony never released an in-Vita game creator, which could have gone a long way to extending the indie-sweetheart vibe around the handheld.

Currently playing on my Vita/PS3/PS4/PS5
