July Update: PlayStation 6 and PlayStation Portable future visions

 The recent PlayStation video about the "simulated" technology in development, discussed between AMD and Sony engineers that will power the PlayStation 6 was interesting from a geek point of view. But from a gameplay perspective, there is - IMO - no need for a PlayStation 6 for another few years. Especially with the limp Xbox is-it-isn't-it launch .  July 2026 Update : Sony managed a cannon-fire sized self-inflicted injury by announcing the end of physical releases across the end of the PS5 era and the launch of the PS6. Hitchhiker stalks the Switch soon

File under the games as art category, Hitchhiker from Mad About Pandas is a low-poly adventure puzzle game that takes a drive down the road less travelled to solve mysteries about your past, since you appear to have a bad case of amnesia. 

As the hitchhiker, you take a number of rides across a strange and beautiful landscape, through towns and across the desert, trying to solve the disappearance of someone. Your drivers are a motley collection, ranging from stoic farmers to waitresses, each with a story to tell. 

Along the journey, there's some philosophy, some introspection, puzzles to solve, and clues to spot, but are you the hero or the villain of the piece?
