Yes, it is 2020, and still the odd Kickstarter project is keen on the idea of a Vita version. Specifically, George Sears, developer of Ralf's Adventure: Aztec Mystery says "I am working on the logistics of porting the game to Playstation Vita and Nintendo Switch (they will, 100% be brought to those eventually, but I'm trying to make sure they happen at launch as well.)"
Update: Developer pulled the Kickstarter after lots of broken pledges, still working on the game though!
Looking like an EGA-inpsired art style, Ralf's Adventure: Aztec Mystery is a retro-style top-down platformer, with a bit of Chips Challenge vibe to it. The Kickstarter will help fund the final push to a release later this year. So far on day one, it has raised £250 pledged of £3,753 goal, something I'm sure Vita Islanders could help break rather quickly.
