Vectrex Mini interview - David Oghia talks up the nostalgic vector powerhouse

Having been wowed by the news of the Vectrex Mini at Gamescom , I rushed off some questions to VectrexOn's main man  David Oghia . After a post-event, well earned, break, he's kindly given us a lot of detail about the project and some new images of the unit to share.  His story mirrors mine somewhat, Vectrex represents a glowing, unaffordable, obelisk of gaming power from our youth! Mushroom Heroes sprouts on the Vita

Hidden Trap and Dolores Entertainment welcomes fungi adventurers today on PSN as a collaborative collection of shrooms use their skills to navigate to the end of each colourful level. Between them, they can fire arrows, defend with a shield, and jump and float. All essential skills when it comes to lifting the curse from their land.

Only a fiver, it looks like a brilliant dash of retro-platforming and puzzle fun, set across 38 levels, hopefully with plenty of secrets and multiple ways to solve each level (downloading now, but busy so won't get to review it until later).

Currently playing on my Vita/PS3/PS4/PS5
