With the likes of Cowcat's Demetrios coming to the Switch, Nintendo's console has plenty of adventuriing whimsy on the way. Another I've just found out about is The Mystery of Woolley Mountain, from UK-based Lightfoot Bros. Funded on Kickstarter, it is described as an otherworldly point & click adventure for the modern gamer.
Starring a daft collection of time-travelling audio scientists on a hilarious and fantastical quest, adventurers will explore a rich world across time, filled with head-scratching puzzles. Unravel a salacious storyline, meet a cornucopia of quirky characters, and boogie on down to an awesome original soundtrack! What's not to like? The game is due in Spring 2019.
