Vectrex Mini interview - David Oghia talks up the nostalgic vector powerhouse

Having been wowed by the news of the Vectrex Mini at Gamescom , I rushed off some questions to VectrexOn's main man  David Oghia . After a post-event, well earned, break, he's kindly given us a lot of detail about the project and some new images of the unit to share.  His story mirrors mine somewhat, Vectrex represents a glowing, unaffordable, obelisk of gaming power from our youth! But he's had the energy and drive to do something about it, and met the right people to get the job done!  What first got you interested in Vectrex and what spawned the idea of a Mini version? Nelke and the Legendary Alchemists conjours up a sweet limited edition

If you liked Gust's Atelier Sophie and other installments of the series on the Vita or PS4, or Atelier Lydie & Suelle their first outing on Switch, get ready for more alchemy fun. This time Nelke & the Legendary Alchemists: Ateliers of the New World puts you in the bespoke shoes of Nelke von Lestamm.

She is tasked with building up the quaint village of Westwald into a prosperous city. For her to develop buildings and extend the size of Westwald, she will need to earn money from the businesses she runs or sell synthesised items for cash.

Exploring the areas outside of Westwald with her fellow alchemists allows Nelke to collect raw materials perfect for synthesis, using their skills to turn resources into saleable goods.

Each alchemist has their own specialties which allow them to offer improved item creation – players will have to carefully decide what would be the most effective alchemist for which items.

Fans will be able to get their hands on a Collector’s Edition of Nelke & the Legendary Alchemists: Ateliers of the New World at the NISA Europe Online Store. It contains a hardcover art book, the game’s official soundtrack, a deluxe cloth poster, and an acrylic Nelke standee, all in a collector’s box featuring artwork of the famous alchemists which appear in the game.
