Legendary Treasure-developed shooter and Dreamcast icon heads to the Switch thanks to Nicalis. Ikaruga is one of the Japanese developers great shooters, using a colour switching mechanic to avoid the bullet hell infested levels as you swoop in and out of huge pseudo-3D space and city battles.
Loved it on the Dreamcast, not so much in this weird format they use for widescreen TVs, but put the Switch up vertically and it looks the real deal, with two player mode (I think). Whichever way you play, still an awesome game. Releasing digital at the end of May.
