July Update: PlayStation 6 and PlayStation Portable future visions

 The recent PlayStation video about the "simulated" technology in development, discussed between AMD and Sony engineers that will power the PlayStation 6 was interesting from a geek point of view. But from a gameplay perspective, there is - IMO - no need for a PlayStation 6 for another few years. Especially with the limp Xbox is-it-isn't-it launch .  July 2026 Update : Sony managed a cannon-fire sized self-inflicted injury by announcing the end of physical releases across the end of the PS5 era and the launch of the PS6. Persona 5 Dancing All Night a possibility?

Atlus in Japan has registered a bunch of sites recently. with the names p5d.jp, p5r.jp and p5u.jp and p5ag.jp listed. Its not too far of a stretch to imagine a Persona 5 Dancing game, and a Persona 5 Ultimax fighting game using the characters from the new episode. What the others are could be anyone's guess, but the chances of a Persona 5 Golden seem to be slipping fast as Vita sales in Japan.

2015's Persona 4 DAN was fun, but jammed with too much chat, and fluff. Hopefully any future game, assuming it came to Vita would be tightened up. However, Switch or other formats are now more likely.
