Vectrex Mini interview - David Oghia talks up the nostalgic vector powerhouse

Having been wowed by the news of the Vectrex Mini at Gamescom , I rushed off some questions to VectrexOn's main man  David Oghia . After a post-event, well earned, break, he's kindly given us a lot of detail about the project and some new images of the unit to share.  His story mirrors mine somewhat, Vectrex represents a glowing, unaffordable, obelisk of gaming power from our youth! Get ready for a Mutant Mudds Super Challenge

Mutant Mudds hit the Vita way back in 2013 (oddly no longer showing on PSN), I'm guessing it did well enough for Renegade Kid and publisher Nighthawk to bring semi-sequel Super Challenge along to the handheld along with PS4, coming later this month after launching on the 3DS.

UPDATE: The game is out now on EU PSN for £7.99

Featuring a nerd on a jet-pac, he can zip in and out of the screen to deal death to a range of peculiar baddies from ghosts to giant spuds. A range of weapons are needed to take them down, it looks like finding them and enough life will be half the trick.
